Sara Grace Wallace
B.F.A Musical Theatre

Sara Grace "Gracie" Wallace is a Graduating B.F.A. Musical Theatre major originally from Marianna, Florida. Had the world not come to a screeching halt, you would have seen her as an ensemble member in the Spring production of Urinetown: The Musical. Previous U.W.F. productions include: Othello (Emilia), Dearly Departed (Suzanne), A Christmas Carol (Past/Doll Vendor), and The Skin of Our Teeth (Sabina). Last summer she had the pleasure of participating in The Irish Experience: a study abroad program in Ireland where she studied Irish mythology and found her love for physical theatre, performing a drama called The Wooing of Etain (Etain) upon her return to the states.
Her vision of theatre is to be a part of a craft that creates safe spaces for audiences, that brings beautiful words from the paper to the physical and provide others comfort, or challenge, or encouragement, or vision in the process, as they have provided her. Like most artists, she is moving into the unknown, but she is confident that she will be able to express her art in the future.
Along with technique, UWF has taught her to follow her gut instinct and trust that her developing gifts are enough. Had she not been pushed to believe in herself—and she needed to be pushed—she would not feel as prepared to go out into the real world as she does now. She wants to thank everyone in the program for making this experience complete for her. She is now a more sophisticated, professional, individual, acting and musical artist. And for that she is eternally grateful. As always, GO ARGOS.
