Gamaliel Arroyo

The journey Gamaliel has ventured through his two years at the University of West Florida has not been conventional but he wouldn't trade it in for anything in the world. As one of the few BA Acting students, Gamaliel found an academic space where he could hone his technique in acting while discovering a love for the multiple elements of tech in theatre. The family and mentors he has gained, both in classes and productions, while attending UWF has left his heart full and his creativity inspired for the upcoming step in his career.

Two UWF productions Gamaliel has been in include Othello and Christmas Carol. As well as a student directed show Antigone. Involving himself in the costuming, props and technical elements of other productions have left him with great memories and unique skills.

Gamaliel would love to thank his professor/mentor Marci Duncan for the inspiration she has continuous sparked in his life, whether it be in a studio session or in her office couch. He'd also love to thank all the faculty, Sara Scoch, Charles Houghton, Glenn Breed and Holly Griffin for giving him the opportunity to truly understand the true meaning of being a well versed artist and lover of theatre. Lastly, a final goodbye and "Love You" to his friends and entire graduating class. You guys have brought so much more than joy and love into his life and for that he is internally grateful
